National University Hospital (NUH) is a member of the National Healthcare Group. It is a specialist hospital which provides advanced, leading-edge medical care. In 2004, NUH became the first hospital in Singapore to be accredited by the Joint Commission
International (JCI) for excellent clinical practices. It was also the first hospital to receive a triple ISO certification simultaneously for its quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management systems in 2002. A deluxe suite is a fully carpeted single room with an attached sitting room, attached bathroom, air conditioned, telephone, television, mini fridge, electronic safe and a sofa bed; an "A" class ward has an attached bathroom, air conditioned, telephone, television, electronic safe and a sofa bed; "B1" class ward has 4 beds, shared attached bathroom, air conditioned, telephone and television; "B2" class ward is a 6 bedded room with fan ventilation, common television and common bathroom; class C ward is an 8 bedded room with fan ventilation, shared bathroom facilities and a common television; Delivery Suite is a single room with attached toilet, air conditioned, television/telephone, CTG monitoring, baby warmer and pipe in entomix gas; Nursery ward has a 25 bassinette room, attached bathroom, air conditioned, phototherapy unit, baby warmer and resuscitation trolley. |
